10.22.2009 - Orscheln Industries To Auction Property
Following the August decision to bring an end to production at the company's Holmesville plant, Orscheln Industries, manufacturer of heavy duty mechanical cables, electro-mechanical foot pedals and shifters, made public it's plans for the ;facility located at 8351 County Road 245 - Holmesville, Ohio.  On November 17th at 10:00 am, United Country, an Ohio Realty & Auction Group will conduct an absolute industrial real estate auction with the property going to the highest bidder regardless of price.

In response to the announcement, Arnold Oliver, Director Holmes County Planning Commission said, "I think it's admirable that the company acted so swiftly.  An absolute auction provides perhaps the best opportunity to place a new employer in the building, potentially putting some displaced by the company's closing back to work".

  • 3-10 ft. doors in loading area, 2 with dock plates
