Education

Education is often considered the foundation of economic wealth, social prosperity, and political stability.   Preparing today's youth physically, mentally and socially for life beyond the classroom is challenging, especially in this rapidly changing global climate.  In what has become an increasingly competititve environment, access to an affordable, quality education is essential.

There are two school districts primarily serving Holmes County, East and West Holmes and four additional districts serving much smaller student populations on the county border.
