The Holmes County Economic Development Council is comprised of twelve (12) voting members and three (3) ex-officio delegates from the public and private sector. Current board members represent county government, the chamber of commerce, public utilities, finance, healthcare, agriculture, law/legal, education and manufacturing. Multifaceted by design, the board serves as an advisory committee of the organization. In large part the duty of this panel entails delinating the strategic direction of the council based on community need and the economic climate. Taking this lead, the Executive Director is charged with the responsibility of identifying and coordinating key initiatives aligning with board established priorities.
